We beat Antonio Banderas! Erika has been teaching 19 local high school students how to tango. We have 9 boys and 10 girls, and while they tend to chat a lot, they are doing remarkably well. In fact they boys are breaking down the steps much better than the girls.

We are now offereing tango classes for youth 14-17 on mondays during school term, 3.30pm-5pm.

We've finally made up our minds what to do with some of the funds from last year's fun raiser. We have just donated a television, dvd/vcr combination to the Servicemen's CLub to be used in the hall. This means groups such as ourselves or other health and dance groups can use the mirrors and a teaching video at the same time.

We were again invited to participate at the Canberra Multicultural Festival 2006, where the black dance floor undoubtedly burned many a dancer's feet. However we, and the other performers, were able to overcome this dilemma, and had a great time.

Erika also performed with the Tango Social Club of Canberra and Tomas Dietz Flamenco Academy over the week end.

Erika and Simon can be seen at Cobargo Folk Festival and St Albans Folk Festival dancing and teaching Tango.

After Music at the Creek 2003, Leonie Sukan, our guest at that festival, asked us to participate in one of her performance nights at the Enmore Theatre during the 15th Sydney Middle Eastern festival this last May 2004.

We performed Shashkin by Omar Faruk Terbilek
