Flamenco News

It's now been four years since I started taking classes with Tomas Dietz, and now Max is starting the the children's classes.

I still feel like a beginner, but i get so much enjoyment out of the classes. Apart from that, we are like a huge family.

This year we performed at the National Folk Festival.I have no pictures of this year, but below are some from last year's performance.

We have been putting together quite an amazing show, with percussion, singing and musicians. We have also been working hard on learning new dances and improving the old ones.

Tomas and the advanced students also participated in a much anticipated and very successful fun raiser play/dance night called Tango Palerango , a joint project between the Braidwood Folk Club and Tallaganda Dance Troupe in July 2005.

The evening consisted of a radio play, written by local radio personalities Chris Payne and Michael Gill, spanish guitarists the Urban Gypsies, as well as performances by Braidwood Theatre and of course the Tallaganda Dance Troupe, and Tomas Dietz Flamenco.
