Our Mission....
To have fun and provide entertaining performances of different styles of folk and middle eastern dancing to a wide ranging audience.

The Troupe....
The members of Talla, short for Tallaganda Dance Troupe, have been dancing together since 1997, and performing since 1999 when the troupe was founded. We adopted the name Talla in early 2001
The Troupe brings together a wide interest in dance. Its main focus is in European and Israeli folk dances, and folk and classical styles of Middle Eastern dancing. In the past few years our interest have widened to include flamenco and tango classes.

We see dance as an opportunity to express one self, and we encourage professional dance teachers from a variety of dance styles to come to Braidwood to give our community the chance to experience all that our multicultural society has to offer.

Please feel free to drop in if you have an interest in folk dance. We'd love to see you. And please get in touch by email with any comments, particularly if you have any information or interest in :
* The Haggalah *Middle Eastern folk dances *Romany dance *anything on this website
*Anything at all.

We provide entertainment free of charge (unless you live far away) for community organisations and fundraising events.

We also organise fundraisers in aid of local charities and non-profit organisations.
